About ElizabethI was born and raised in Akron, Ohio where I grew up in a family of makers, manufactures, artist, creators & appreciators. For me it was important that I knew how to use a hammer and a saw shortly after I learned to walk and talk. I was taught that anything you can want or anything you can imagine can be made by hand. If it is something you did not know how to make, WELL, you can surely learn how to do it. This aspect of my childhood lead to my multifaceted interest in art, craft, design, and a general DO IT YOURSELF attitude. Following this fascination from childhood, I went on to acquire a BFA in Jewelry & Metals from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
